Line Boring
Morning Star Marine specialises in line boring stern tubes for Navy and commercial vessels, ensuring shafts are perfectly aligned over lengths of up to nine metres. This reduces vibration, improves efficiency, and prevents premature wear on gearboxes and engines.

Our innovative repair method restores aluminium components, like rudder tubes and roll-fin housings. We rebuild and machine worn internal surfaces back to OEM spec. It avoids repeated enlargements, extends service life, and reduces costly replacements.
